While visiting from CA, my husband wanted to rent a bike. My husband is an avid bike enthusiast. The owner kindly let him try out and use a bike for the days while we were in town. We thought the custumer service was top notch. Also the selection and quality was excellent. Definitely will be buying bikes for the family from Baker's Bikes.
I was searching for a chain for a vintage tricycle and was getting the runaround from other bike shops. Stopped by Bakers and he knew exactly what I needed and had it for me the next day. Way more than fair pricing and even helped install the new chain. Very pleased with the knowledge and willingness to help me out. I will definitely come back if the need arises again and will pass it along to others needing any repairs on their bikes.
Mom and Pop kind of operation, very personal, friendly, and affordable. I bought a decent used bike, two new helmets two locks and and two lights all just under $300.
I got an old bike and couldn't take the bottom bracket out, so I took my bike to Baker's Bikes. They had the special tool and took it out for me without charge. The next day, I needed more help with the thread. I stopped by and they kindly let me use their tools without any charge. Moreover, they told me a lot of very useful tips on how to repair and maintain bikes. Very nice people, the best bike shop I have been to. In addition to repairing and maintenance, they also sell new and used bikes. I definitely would like to recommend Baker's Bikes to anybody!
Fair prices, honest workers and owner, and extremely quick service. It was cheaper and quicker than any other bike repair shop I've been too and he didn't waste any time. I was in and out in 15 minutes.
