Amazing book selection and helpful staff. This a book store for everyone with rare classics to bestsellers. If you're looking for a book in Urbana I'd make this your first stop.
Crazy
This is one of my two favorite used book stores in central Illinois along with Jane Addams Books in Champaign. The pricing is fair (half price to buy, one quarter to sell--with a little more added if we choose to trade in books rather than get cash). The selection is good--I have often found coveted old Phillip Dick or Sherri Tepper SF or Michael Connelly Mystery or Eastern Philosophy books there in excellent condition. The proprietors many times have looked over piles of books I have brought in to sell. I believed that only a small portion of those books were really good but hoped they would take them all. Every time the owners only bought the good ones. Their shelves show it.
