This is my main dentist, I was going here before a new dentist started working here and had no problems. I called today because I'm having pain in my jaw, it feels like a wisdom tooth is coming in but I just had them removed a few months ago so I'm confused about the pain. I called to see if the dentist could check my mouth and possibly give me an X-ray, and the woman who answered the phone was rude and said "Shouldn't you be calling that dentist then?" in a condescending tone. It was unsettling seeing as how I was a patient there before and this was the dentist who recommended an oral surgeon for me. I can understand now that maybe I should have called my oral surgeon instead but I didn't think it would be a problem considering I'm a paying customer.
I've been Dr. Xu's patient for all the years I lived in Champaign. Dr. Xu is very professional, competent, and kind. He provides high quality dental service with reasonable price.
Today was my 1st visit, and I was very pleased with the staff. The dental assistants were very nice, and Dr. Cusack did an excellent job with the composite filling. Everyone explained to me the X-Rays and procedures very well. They are also reasonably priced. They also gave me free samples for dental floss, and lip gloss. It was also easy to schedule another appointment, with Amanda at the reception who is also super-nice.
Loved the receptionist, loved the hygienists, loved the doctor until I went to a different dentist...I moved asked for records, never got them, went to the dentist showed them where I suspected I had cavities, dentist assured me they were nothing, after spending over $1500 on a crown and dental work I found out from my new dentist the same spots were actual cavities after all....my new dentist was also shocked at the poor quality cleaning my wife and i received from this location only just 6 months ago...I recommended trying a different dentist who will actually give your money's worth
