I have to say this, which I don't typically do this type of thing. But I have to break the silence. People need to know how they treat their employees. Recently, my boyfriend was terminated from Carters.. Two days after he told them that he was being sent to Iraq. Isn't that a coincidence that two days after he notified them that he was being deployed that he was fired due to his lack of work ethic and attendance. While he was employed at Carters, he was told many times by his supervisors how well he was doing and how much they appreciated his hardwork. So, it just so happens that two days after he notified them that he was being deployed he wasn't meeting their work ethic standards.
If you support our troops and have any type of respect for our country you won't purchase your furniture from this establishment. They will get away with it and there is nothing we can do about it. Even though it is against the law.
A bit on the high side $$$, very helpful even right up to/after closing, much more variety than expected, no hesitation letting me try out recliners in work boots.
We've bought a number of pieces from Carters. We've always been pleased with the sales staff and the furniture we have received. They ave a really nice selection, so definitely check it out.

The people there have an air about them that just screams snob! The feeling is if you're not there to spend money then don't bother coming
