One plus -- the store was practically deserted at 8PM Tuesday -- Less than a dozen cars in the parking lot.

This place is a joke.

Stopped in at Farm and Fleet at 5:30 Friday evening, as the low tire pressure alert signaled that the driver side rear tire pressure was low, went in the tire center to the Urbana Illinois store to be met by an already abrasive employee who told me, "no way can we get you in as we are scheduled up and to come back tomorrow ! I didn't even get to tell him the issue, and was asked to come back tomorrow,!!! Really. I won't ever go back. Farm and Fleet. You blew it. You had 1 job, customer service ! Non existent here. So taking my business elsewhere ! So buyer beware !

I traveled zillions of miles to discover they didn't have what I wanted.

It's not really their fault -- other stores are out of stock too - but I want to vent my frustration, having struggled to find the place on my way back to Chicago from the best eclipse-viewing camp-site in Ill., Sandburn Junction. And Blain's was out of stock -- a bummer.

And I didn't find their prices all that outstanding. I wanted to stock up on Coke-Zero to evade the Cook County soda tax, but Blain's was selling a 12-pack for $5.29 vs. $3-something at Walmart (which admittedly might have been a sale price.)

They mentioned tires were wearing unevenly and tried to upsell me on $700 worth of shocks. Took it to dealership and they said shocks are fine but replaced a wheel bearing.

Wide range of supplies and goods. High-quality friendly service

This place is a good mixture of Big R, Menards, and Walmart. I love to just go in and look at everything. I have bought a lot of canning supplies from here along with bulk baking supplies.

Store is great. A little expensive but everything you need for farm and home. If I could give the tire and service department a zero I would. Long waits, frequently exceeding two hours, even if you make an appointment. Even service desk is usually a 15-30 min wait just to be told they don't have enough staff to help you. Low grade tires are very low grade and don't hold up. Twice I've brought car in for flat tires and they couldn't find anything wrong. I had to find the crack in the sidewall for them on one. The other they chose not to replace valve stem on a new tire and then couldn't find the leak. Dealership found it in seconds. Brought it back to Farm and Fleet since I paid for their roadside assistance package and got told I can wait 3 hours or set an appointment 3 weeks out just to change a valve stem on a tire I recently bought from them with additional insurance that only works through them.
