Spent my first night at U of I here, school security officer will direct you to check-in right after getting off Peoria Charter at Altgeld during night. Classic rooms and $5 voucher for breakfast at other restaurants at the Union. The only thing missing is WiFi in my room.
I didn't stay at the hotel. I just visited it because it's a campus resource. I can't say anything on the hotel but the other services are cool.
Nice hotel located in the Illini Union. Inconvenient to access after-hours, decent customer service and rooms, but not the best. During the summer, half the places on the breakfast vouchers are closed, so options are limited.
Not worth the money. Very noisy area. Small rooms....Very old building. The only good point is that it's on campus.
Wonderful environment. Respectful students are usually around on the first floor. Starbucks available. Vibrant, old-school hotel.
